About Us
We are a student run organization dedicated to promoting corrosion science and technology. Our aim is to increase corrosion awareness among high school and university students by providing educational seminars and networking opportunities. Ultimately, we strive to inspire students, while emphasizing social responsibility and safety. We believe that introducing the topic of corrosion and protection is a very important step in the development of high school students that are interested in science and engineering. Our organization consists of university students (both undergraduate and graduate) who are involved in research in the fields of corrosion science and engineering, electrochemistry, and surface sciences. At the moment our section spans over four major universities in Southern Ontario, namely: McMaster University, University of Western Ontario, University of Toronto, and Queen's University. We work in collaboration with other NACE sections, and we always look to collaborate with those who are also passionate about corrosion science and engineering.
